Dr. Ashkan Sefaradi grew up in Los Angeles, CA and graduated with a double major from the University of California, San Diego with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. While at UCSD, he served on numerous committees including the UCSD Admissions Committee and conducted research in X-Ray Crystallography with worldly renowned scientists and researchers including cutting edge cancer research at the Moore’s Cancer Institute. Dr. Sefaradi also competed in various sports including intramural basketball.
After completing his undergraduate studies, Dr. Sefaradi completed a post-baccalaureate program at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA before matriculating to the University
of Wisconsin School of Medicine.
He graduated medical school from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine in Madison before matriculating into a three-year Internal Medicine Residency Program at Kaiser Permanente in Fontana California. Dr. Sefaradi dedicated a focused portion of his residency to
treating hospitalized patients including critically ill ICU patients, and those with Sports Medicine injuries.
After completing his residency, Dr. Sefaradi began practicing at Kaiser Permanente West Los Angeles Medical Center where he was the only physician to serve as a hospitalist, nocturnist, urgentologist, primary care physician with a panel of over 1800 patients, and bariatric physician. His care for patients and providing excellent care exceeded direct patient care including serving as a preceptor and faculty member at the Kaiser School of Medicine.
In 2021, Dr. Sefaradi departed KP to begin private practice in Beverly Hills and Culver City. He currently holds admitting privileges at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, Southern California Hospital, and Kaiser Permanente West Los Angeles and Woodland Hills Medical Center. His practice has blossomed into a multidisciplinary practice providing care for individuals from all means and backgrounds. Dr. Sefaradi provides excellent care not only in the outpatient private setting, but also as a personal injury specialist. He serves as an expert in the field of Internal Medicine, Personal Injury, and Chronic Disease and elderly care. He continues to serve as faculty at
Kaiser School of Medicine and remains dedicated to teaching and to excellent patient care.
He is well known for his excellent patient care, ability to diagnose and treat the most difficult of cases with utmost quality and second-to-non bedside manner. He attends medical conferences throughout the world and remains dedicated to lifelong learning.
In his spare time, he plays basketball and enjoys camping, hiking, and playing with his many nieces and nephews.
